Today I just got a very rare book. SERGE LUTENS’ L’ESPRIT
It’s a very beauty large format book, with tons of engaging,
wonderful art and fashion images by Serge Lutens.
This book will sit up nicely with my collection of artists
that have and are influencing me.

I went back to LA for my birthday, and while I was there I did two days of hectic shooting. There really wasn’t a lot of planning or idea for the shoot, so I shot Contex G1 on some Rite Aid film and took it back to NYC and then 4 months later actually messed around with them. The past couple of months I have seen some very strong influences in my work. One of these influences has been the ad work and styling of Serge Lutens. His make up is always very harlequin like and he uses shapes and design so beautifully in his art direction. Here are just a few samples of his work.
